Originally released in 1995, Outside was a return to more conceptually aural and
experimental soundscapes that Bowie had explored during his "Berlin"
recordings of Low, Heroes and Lodger. Outside also reunited him with
one of his collaborators from the "Berlin" time period, Brian Eno. Outside featured
the phenomenal singles, "Hallo Spaceboy" and "Hearts Filthy Lesson." The newly
remastered version includes all the original artwork, lyrics and the rare hard-to-find
international "Get Real" (B-side to "Stranger When We Meet").

Earthling, released in 1997, saw Bowie and his band expanding on ideas from
Outside and adding techno/drum & bass explorations into the mix. Earthling was a
very poignant album and help Bowie reach a brand new audience during
the 90's. The album also received strong support from MTV as a result of a
remixed version for the single "I'm Afraid Of Americans". Earthling would
later receive several Grammy nominations including Best Alternative Performance.

hours, released in 1999, was his most critically acclaimed album since Let's Dance.
hours was unlike the industrial model of its predecessors. The passionate and introspective
nature of the album was reminiscent of his earliest recordings Hunky Dory and
Man Who Sold The World. This emotionally resonant album feature the international
hit single "Thursday's Child" as well the glam-bombastic anthem
of "All The Pretty Things Are Going Hell".
